Wildlife carers are an unrecognised national asset and they are completely self funded.

Carers volunteer their time and cover the financial burden as well as deal with the emotional strain.

Milk formulas are an expensive specialist supply. Feeding teats , bottles, heat mats and pouches are just a few of the many items a carer needs. Carers pay for all of this themselves.

Enclosures and housing for wildlife are costly to erect and must be built to specific standards often differing dependant on the species. 

The registered charity Friends of Summerleas Wildlife aims to raise funds to relieve some of this financial burden. 

With your donation we purchase milk formulas that are distributed at no cost to wildlife carers.
